Defiant #1 was the first episode of Defiant, the online weekly show for Defiant Wrestling. The event took place in Birmingham, West Midlands, England on December 5th 2017, but aired on a tape delay on December 15th 2017.
The show started with a recap of the events of the We Are Defiant PPV.
The first match was between David Starr, who was so bitter about his loss to Mike Bailey that he wouldn't let the ring announcer go through all his nicknames, and Travis Banks. The match started with Starr attacking Banks during Banks' entrance and ripping off Banks' New Zealand Flag. The match was fairly back and forth, with both momentum constantly changing between Banks and Starr. The match ended with Banks pinning Starr after hitting the Kiwi Krusher. After the match, Joe Hendry and El Ligero of The Prestige came out and attacked Banks, Ligero asking Starr to join in, which Starr did. Ligero left the ring to grab some chairs and set up Banks for a con-chair-to, but before Starr could hit the con-chair-to, the lights went out and the British Wrestling Tag Team and close friends of Travis Banks, Chris Brookes and Kid Lykos, better known as CCK, appeared and rushed to the ring to chase off Star and the Prestige.
For the next match, 17 year old Millie McKenzie is already in the ring as Little Miss Roxxy enters the ring. The match starts off in Roxxy's favour, until Millie gets a few moves in. The match ended with Millie pinning Roxxy after hitting several German Suplexes in quite a quick match.
Backstage, Joe Hendry explains why he attacked Banks earlier and why he kicked Banks out of the Prestige. Saying that there's no denying Banks' ability in the ring, but he was too selfish and wasn't committed to "the cause".
