Rey Mysterio is an American professional wrestler who is best known for his time in WWE and WCW. Mysterio wrestles in the Mexican masked luchador style.

Mysterio made his WCPW debut as part of the Mexican leg of the Pro Wrestling World Cup '17 Mexican qualifying leg in February 2017. He beat Alberto El Patrón and Juventud Guerrera to advance to the tournament finals. Mysterio lost to Will Ospreay in the opening round of the tournament.
Mysterio also made irregular appearances in WCPW during 2017, defeating El Ligero at No Regrets, and Ricochet at Stacked.
