Luke Menzies is a former Rugby League player turned professional wrestler who is currently signed to the WWE NXT brand. Menzies appeared for Defiant Wrestling in 2017.
History in Defiant Wrestling[]
Menzies made his Defiant Wrestling debut on Defiant 5 when he was lined up as an opponent for the dominant Jurn Simmons. Simmons headed to the ring with the rest of The Congregation for whom he was acting as the enforcer. Simmons and Menzies initially had a power game stand-off, with neither wanting to give way to their opponents' offense. Gradually Simmons took control of the match but as Menzies tried to fight back, Congregation member Prince Ameen jumped onto the ring apron and distracted him. As Menzies turned back, Simmons hit him with a high boot to the head and a powerbomb before covering Menzies the win. Menzies left the ring following his defeat and was not used in Defiant Wrestling again.
