Unstoppable was a special show staged by Defiant Wrestling in February 2019 in Manchester, England.
Staging[]
Unstoppable was the first Defiant Wrestling show to be staged at the Manchester Academy and was held on 9 February 2019, and broadcast live on Access Defiant. Unstoppable was filmed back to back with Defiant Loaded #10 and featured Defiant's regular commentary team of Dave Bradshaw and James R. Kennedy, along with ring announcer Stevie Aaron.
Unstoppable featured a high proportion of matches that had to be re-booked as a number of the scheduled wrestlers were forced to pull out for various reasons. The original CCK had been booked to wrestle a tag team championship match bu this had to be switched when Kid Lykos sustained an injury in January when wrestling for another promotion. Lucky Kid was drafted in to replace Lykos and partnered Chris Brookes in the match, the duo appearing as CCBlaaah. Ilja Dragunov had been announced as the opponent for John Klinger during Defiant Loaded #7, but before the episode could air, Dragunov pulled out of his bookings having signed for WWE and thus was replaced by Justin Sysum.
In the days before the show, Jimmy Havoc was hospitalised following an injury and so his scheduled "Anti-Hardcore" match with No Fun Dunne had to be switched to a match up between Dunne and Drake for the vacated Defiant Hardcore Championship. Finally, on the day of recording it was announced that El Phantasmo had sustaned a concussion the night before and had therfore been replaced by Benji in his title match against Martin Kirby.
