WCPW Loaded Episode 27 starts with a recap of General Manager Adam Blampied's message to The Prestige for attacking Will Ospreay, KUSHIDA, and Bea Priestley after the Pro Wrestling World Cup '17 finals and destroying the trophy. The Prestige's WCPW World Champion Joe Hendry and Magnificient Seven briefcase holder El Ligero come out, but are immediately interrupted by Blampied, who tells them there three punishments. The first putting Hendry into a match against Kenny Williams later that night, the second being Hendry defending the title against Ospreay at Refuse to Lose (2017), and the third punishment is for Ligero, which is defending his briefcase in a Hardcore match next against a mystery opponenet, revealed to be the new WCPW Hardcore Champion Primate. Before the match, Primate is attacked by Hendry and Joe Coffey and at the end of the match is attacked by BT Gunn. Highlights from last week's Triple Threat tag team match to determine the #1 contenders for the WCPW Tag Team Championship are shown leading to the title match between the champions War Machine and last week's winners Die Jungen Löwen. Before the match, Die Jungen Lowen cut a promo on how they will win the titles but, before the match starts War Machine states that this match will be contested under "War Machine Rules." Will Ospreay is backstage saying that Joe Hendry is a selfish child, how he is evolving wrestling, and how he will take down The Prestige and take the title. Joe coffey then comes out and complains how England got three representatives in the World Cup and how he should have got a bye into the the next round, but Prince Ameen comes out and says that Coffey has had everything handed to him and how he wasn't even in the tournament and he challenges Coffey to a match right now. Coffey attacks Ameen after the match. Backstage, Hendry talks about how he offered Ospreay a place in The Prestige and how he see beating Ospreay at Refuse to Lose as a way to cement his legacy and how Kenny Williams eliminated and embarrassed him in the World Cup. The main event is next between Hendry and Williams.
